What Language did Jesus Speak?
Of course, no one can be absolutely certain what language Jesus actually
spoke, but most scholars say it was a form of Aramaic. Some say Jesus spoke Greek; others
say He spoke Hebrew. I myself will side with the majority, not because I am a scholar in this
field, by no means am I, but I do see that it makes the most sense. Although I also believed
Jesus most likely spoke Hebrew and possibly Greek.
Those who believe Jesus spoke Greek, suppose this because the Septuagint,
which was the Greek translation of the Jewish Scriptures, was believed by many to be the
translation Jesus may Himself quoted from and read from in the synagogue.

Discussing Two Scriptural Misunderstandings
“For Many Are Called, But Few Chosen”—(Matthew 20:16). There are many Christians who read this Bible verse at face value and interpret it as meaning that it is not our choice, but God’s choice, whether we accept the calling of God in our lives. They will point to verses which say that God hardens people's
hearts.
People who speak more than one language will tell you that translation is not a perfect science, because no one language can be perfectly translated into another without some word meaning being incorrect or at least not accurate.

The True Commission of Jesus; Are Christian’s Fulfilling it? - Part 1
Let me preface this article by saying, it is not my intention with this article to condemn any one Christian or Christian group, or to devalue the hard work that some Christians perform in the name of Christianity; there are some issues, such as anti-abortion that are worthy causes and that I fully support.
With that said, I often wonder if Christians or Christian groups who get involved with certain political issues, if they realize that they are just spinning their wheels for a cause that is really meaningless in the big picture in God’s overall plan for mankind.

Jerusalem Divided; Is it God’s Will and Will it Bring Peace?
Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert recently told the Jerusalem Post that dividing
Israel with the Palestinians may be inevitable because of mounting international
pressure. One such proponent for this division is the United States, who is one
of Israel’s staunchest allies. As I write, President Bush is in Israel meeting
with top officials of both Israel and the Palestinian authority, to try and move
this peace process along.
The proposed division would, presumably, reset the borders of Jerusalem back to pre-1967
war borders, where East Jerusalem was under the rule of Jordan. During the 1967 war
Israel took East Jerusalem by force and has occupied it even since.

The Importance of Humility
The apostle Paul, in his letter to the Philippians, writes about the importance of humility among the brethren of the church. I would submit to you that a little humility would go a long way in helping every aspect of your life.
Is it easy to not honk your horn and shake your fist, or even keep from screaming explicative's at the driver who carelessly cuts you off because his or her destination is much more important than yours? Not at all.
What’s the benefit of humbling yourself in that situation, and just forgiving them, backing off and allowing them in? Well, for one, there’s a health benefit. It’s common knowledge that stress is a detriment to your health. So, by humbling yourself and making it a point every time you get into your car, that you will not let other drivers get to you, is one of many ways that you can improve your quality of life through humility.

Humility; A Virtue that Sometimes Gets Lost, Even in the Church...
When you talk about humility, rarely do you hear of this quality in the secular world
of business. As a matter of fact, humility in the business world is looked at as a
weakness. There is no place in corporate society for humility.
What is disappointing is when this same humility-less mentality is found within the walls of the church.

Time to Stop Blaming God...
It’s amazing to me how many people when things are going good in their lives, rarely do they
give God the credit for it, but as soon as trouble comes along, the first one to get the blame
is God. Even worse, there are ministers out there telling people it’s O.K. to get angry with
God. This just boggles my mind.
I am really not sure how they rationalize that, but just read the last few chapters of the Book
of Job and then tell me that it is O.K. to be angry at God. God scolded Job for his self-righteous
attitude, and this was before God sent His only Son, Jesus Christ to the Cross for us.
