Accepting Jesus as Your Savior
It doesn't matter where you are right now— it doesn't matter what you are experiencing right now in your life. As a matter of fact, Satan is well aware that you are considering giving your life to Jesus
and he will do everything in his power to keep you from that decision. He'll load you up with feelings of guilt and unworthiness. Jesus said in Matthew 9:13, "For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners."
So whatever you do, resist those feelings of guilt and unworthiness or whatever other feelings that may be keeping you from making the most important
decision of your life.
If you're hurting and you're looking for a way of escape, you've come to the right place. Jesus is the answer! Jesus says in Matthew 11:28-30, "28) "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29) Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30) For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."
In the Book of Jeremiah, God spoke through the prophet to give us a promise, if we would only seek Him. He tells us in chapter 29, verse 11, "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." This is a promise that is real and is still valid today and is for any person who
will accept Him. This goes hand-in-hand with what Jesus said in Matthew 11:28-30
above.
Many don't believe that God is a caring God, they wonder why He has allowed so much suffering, why so much pain. Many believe God is punishing us today.
Throughout the readings on this site, I will try to establish the truth as it has been revealed to me through my walk with Christ. Wherever you are or wherever you've been in your life, no matter how bad, you can take comfort in the fact that the Bible tells us in 1 Corinthians 10:13, "No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it."
Matthew 8:29
29) And suddenly they cried out, saying, “What have we to do with You, Jesus, You Son of God? Have You come here to torment us before the time?” (NKJV)
But, not to fear, once you are born again, "He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4). The one who resides in you, is Jesus, "who gave Himself for our sins, that He might deliver us from this present evil age" , (Galatians 1:4)— the one who is of the world, is Satan. Christianity is the only religion that guarantees victory, just by accepting Jesus as Savior. Every other religion there are things you need to do in order to win victory, Jesus has already won yours. That's why Jesus said above, "For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."
So, if you're ready to change your life, and it is a lifestyle change we're talking about, where you will need to remove those things from your life that will inhibit your spiritual growth or they will
drag you right back into a life of death, and if you do not make that change, you will be defeating the purpose— but, if you are willing to make that change, it's time to accept Jesus as your Savior and become born again. Jesus said, in John 3:3, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."
Acts 2:38
16) Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit." (NKJV)
• Father, I come before you now, and ask you to forgive me of my sins, the sins that I am aware of and those sins which I am not aware of. Holy Spirit, Make me aware of those sins, so that I may correct those areas of my life that need correcting. Thank you, Father, for your grace and your mercy toward me. Thank you for sending your only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, who took upon Himself, all my sins, all my sicknesses, and all my diseases, through the sacrifice of His own body on the Cross in place of mine, so I myself would not have to pay the penalty for sin and live in the bondage of sickness or disease. Amen.
• Dear Lord Jesus, I have realized that I have been living my life according to the ways of this world and putting myself and my will first in my life. I want that to change— I want you, and need you in my life. To take control of every aspect of it. I now lay down my personal will before you and replace it with the will of the Father in heaven. I ask you now, Lord Jesus, to come into my life and into my heart. Make my heart your home from this day forward. My desire is to no longer be controlled by sin, but to allow you to cleanse my heart of all the impurity that a life led by sin will accumulate. Help me to be led by your example, and that is to develop a life of service to others and laying down my selfish desires at your feet, so they no longer have a hold on my life. Mold me into the person you would want me to be. Thank you for forgiving my sins and giving me eternal life. I thank you and praise your Holy name. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
Congratulations! If you recited the above prayer and it truly came from your heart, you are born again! But, your journey doesn't stop here or at least it shouldn't. First, if you do not already have a home Church, I recommend that you find one. I'll be quite honest with you, if you are reading and understanding the doctrine that I teach here, it may be difficult to find a like minded Church. I had the same problem upon leaving my Baptist Church, because the Baptist's are very adamant when it comes to this doctrine. I've had discussions with my pastor about this when the revelations were coming in and he warned me that this doctrine can be dangerous.
It's only dangerous when you let Satan have a foot-hold in your life and put doubt about the authority of Jesus in your mind and let that doubt or unbelief manipulate God's doctrine. Obviously, if Satan has the ability to do that in your life, you are already defeated. I assure you, that you are going to have some resistance to this doctrine, and why not? Satan has gone to great lengths to abolish this doctrine and he doesn't want to see you accept it.
Believe me, I have had a great deal of resistance from Satan since coming into the truth of this doctrine. He has hit me in every area of my life, But God is good, and this doctrine is true, I am a living testament. He's rattled me with a couple of over-hand rights, but I stood firm and constantly recite 1 John 4:4, ...He who is in you (you can personalize this with "me") is greater than he who is in the world."

Again, I'd like to say, Congratulations!! My prayer for you, is that you hold firm to the faith and not let any person or situation make your faith wane. Study, study, and more study is my advice to you. Not only will you learn, but you will be sure to keep Jesus fresh in your mind daily— it will keep you off the, "Oh, so common roller coaster," that plagues so many Christians and is a main symptom that Christ is not first in your life.
